This is my second GE of this type. Love the dual fan motor design. Quiet. Display lights go out after a time (great for bedrooms). Filter access improved. Love the fact they have a removable drain plug in the condensate pan on the outside for those of us in high humidiity environments. GE clearly listens to their customers.

I paid extra for this air-conditioner, dragged it up three flights of stairs, took out the old unit, carefully installed the new one. Last step connect the wi-fi ONLY TO FIND OUT IT WON’T WORK.

Love the smart feature that i can turn on my AC from my phone it saves me money and also gets the apartment cool before i arrive also love that the vents blow up so it feels it cools the room easier

I bought this is May 2022 and it is doing a great job cooling my upstairs 300 sq foot bedroom. It is pretty quiet and pumps out some cold air. Having a remote is convenient, as is the ability for it to connect to the Smart HQ Smartphone App. The latter shows how much electricity it has used each day along with changing settings like temperature and fan speed. My only complaint would be the grill which directs the air flow. It only allows you to change the vertical direction. It would be nice if it also had a lever so air could be directed more to one side or the other. Now, this unit replaced a different GE Model I bought in July 2021 that lost all its refrigerant (apparently) over the winter. (GE did refund me the entire purchase price of original. ) I will update this review, if possible, if I have the same issue with this one.
