We have the GE Profile quiet 8100 BTU Air Conditioner in our bedroom window, the installation was as expected. The unit is so quiet that you can not hear it when standing right outside the bedroom door, super quiet. GE Profile AC unit is conducive to a great nights sleep, cool and quiet. We love it. The only slight negative is that is heavier than other AC units in the 8k BTU range but is really, really quiet and it cools so quickly. The control is also fantastic using “Alexa”, the GE SmartHQ app on my iPhone, the remote control or intuitive control panel on the front of the unit.

I have a single upstairs bedroom that gets really hot in the summer and this unit cools really well. Having the option to control the unit via the easy to use app allows me to get ahead of the heat even when I'm not at home, I'm able to do this with setting timers as well. Setting a timer to turn off at 1am helps save energy. The Energy Saver mode is very helpful and being able to monitor exactly how much KWH I am using per day in real time is great to keep track off my usage. Highly recommend for those trying to conserve their energy bill during summer months!

Had to buy this twice as the first was damaged in shipping. Not as quiet as I had hoped but pretty quiet for a window ac. Easy to install but very wide. Looks good in the window and I leave them in e save mode so it’s kind of like having central air, they just kick on every once in awhile and the place stays comfortable. Bought three in different sizes and they do the whole house. App is tricky to set up but it will show energy usage. I like the HomeKit integration. Between HomeKit and the volume I can’t imagine getting a different ac right now.

The worst air conditioner I’ve ever purchased. It freezes over every single time we turn it on and is a waste of money. It is incredibly loud as well! DO NOT BUY THIS AC!
