The induction cooktop is an upgrade from the gas hob it replaced. It is equal to gas for instant heat, boiling power and control, and the flat top is much easier to clean. The controls are a little tricky, particularly for those with cold hands, but with a few work arounds (like a place to warm a fingertip), itâs easily manageable. Installation was also straightforward, so long as one has a 40 amp slot available in the breaker box, and the know how (or an electrician) to hook things up. Induction cookware is easily available and works great, along with our old cast iron.

I have always used gas stovetops. For health reasons we switched to Induction. The installation was easy, The cooktop looks nice. After a little adjustment I am pleasantly surprised that things heat up faster, If one matches the pan to the burner the cooking is even. The cooktop worked as described right out of the box. I am very glad to have made the switch.

I just purchased this cooktop to replace a GE Profile cooktop that went on the fritz twice. I will need to get used to the slide control vs. the push button but I think it will be fine. I love the temp lock feature. My only hesitancy in buying it was losing my 11" hob. I was expecting the 2 large hobs to be only 8" and was thrilled when they turned out to be 10". So far I love it.

Just starting to get the feel of this stove top, but love it so far. Easy to use. A dream to clean up with a silicone and fiberglass mat protecting it.
