purchased feb 2019 and installed with trim kit in june with matching double oven & cooktop. together, all looks great. thought unit had a bad magneto because when it ran, the unit was the noisiest microwave i have ever heard. finally had it looked at and when the tech took the unit apart to isolate the cause, saw that there was insufficient padding between the outside panel and base. the solution was to add additional padding (felt) to the unit between outside panel & oven base and also to places where the oven connects to the trim kit. this service call did cost me $87 but at least i have a quiet microwave. samsung really needs to properly pad out this unit to keep the noise level down to a whisper to get a 5 star rating. i should not have had to request this service call.

this is just a countertop microwave that does not come with the trim kit for the "built in look" you still have to buy the trim kit. dealing with samsung cs trying to return it has been a nightmare

we've had it for a little over a year. however, the clock resets about every tenth time you push the button to open the door. resetting the clock daily is getting a bit annoying.

We bought a Samsung black stainless french door refrigerator, wall oven & dishwasher from Lowe's on May 31, 2017. However, we could not order either the microwave or the matching trim kit that we wanted because Lowe's did not have the part #'s in their system. After calling Samsung direct, we learned that there was nowhere in the US where we could order them. Not at Home Depot, not at Best Buy, not at Nebraska Furniture Mart, not at Sears, not at JC Penny, etc. We checked them all. We finally located them at Abt Electronics in Glenview, IL. Ordered the microwave + trim kit on June 8. Abt said it was a special order and would take up to 14 days to ship. We were pleased at that point because we'd have everything finished by the 4th of July. To make a very long story short, we received the microwave on August 10 and the trim kit on October 18. Not Abt's fault; they were very helpful & kept me up to date throughout the process. It was a Samsung manufacturing delay. All told it took almost 5 months to complete the project. The installation instructions for the trim kit were poorly written & very difficult to follow. I threw them away & after much cursing and measuring & drilling, I finally got the thing installed. We're very happy with the way the microwave performs and the trim fits perfectly into our wall cutout. We're getting ready to buy a new Samsung black stainless washer & dryer. This time I'll make sure it's something that the retailer has in stock.
