Could be great, but horrible execution

first off, i think this combination oven/microwave is great when it works. i've had to call a local service tech twice out of warranty. first was a burnt wire internally due to a design flaw and the other was loose hardware in the doors. i've called samsung about these issues and was told that i would have to pay for service. so, almost two years in, and have paid about $600 in service calls. there is also constant reboot of the screen. in the middle of cooking and then the system will crash and reboot. if you turn off wifi to the device it seems to help, but then your clock will not keep accurate time. paying this much for an appliance with zero support after a year from samsung is just ridiculous. i would move on to another brand. there are other more reliable alternatives.

I have always known Samsung products to be top notch before. Aside from my current mobile, I haven’t experienced Samsung in quite a while and so was very excited to try this combo-oven out. The universe was working for us, as our microwave died the week after we found out we were receiving this! I’m big on cooking-and baking-from complete scratch. Making my own noodles, making my own baked goods from flour-making my own flours even (on occasion-not always!). So This oven seemed like a dream come true. All of the features, the convection and even steam clean options, power broiling, what an amazing piece of machinery! One thing to mention: Once installed, I was unable to use the top power convection oven microwave combi-oven, it came with a broken motor! Fortunately, Samsung had my back and backed their products and had someone out to my house the following week. They sent that person with another broken oven, so he had to schedule another person to come the following week to install a third motor. So, here there are pro’s and cons to weigh. If you can be patient, if you have to deal with a set back or three, the pro’s that can come with their incredible products are well worth it. I’ve only been using it now for a week, maybe two. Here is my take thus far: Some features of note worth touting: Steam bake, steam roast, and steam sterilize/clean! As a mom with chronic illness and autoimmmune issues in the house, I find this to be an incredible lifesaver-literallly. THREE ovens in one-since there is a divider(removable) with two convection fans in the bottom oven with separate controls for separate cooking options. Are you ever in charge of the holiday dinners or bake sales? This baby has your back. Smart Control, Gourmet Cook, Healthy Cook, Slim Fry, Fit Choice, and Sensor Cook. My husband’s favorite is the “Dinner Plate” option under Sensor Cook-though he cautions he doesn’t recommend using a microwave safe plate. Definitely use oven-safe specific, even if it is the microwave sensor cooking option being used. It can melt through some good tuppperware or dinnnerware. The different options have several separate sub-options to choose from within, you can add more by downloading via you phone or computer and transferring over via the SmartThings App.-Another caution here, it can be troublesome to get the oven to work with your phone or wifi. I’ve seen this elsewhere as well. Sometimes technology likes to be finicky.

The delivery of my oven was greatly anticipated. Upon arrival the oven was unpacked and i was able to see all the features it offered. Because of the covid virus everything is pretty much shutdown and i have not been able to get an installer into my house. Once this period passes i will hopefully have full use of the oven. If it works as great as my samsung cooktop i will be impressed.

We recently had the Samsung Microwave Combination Wall Oven installed to replace our aging unit. Delivery and installation by XPO went smoothly and flawlessly. The technological advances from our last oven are great. We are still learning all the neat features that it offers, but right away we could see how our lives were about to change. The microwave has a large capacity, and is easy to use and program. There are sensor settings that automatically cook the selected items to completion. There are speed broil and convection settings as well, that add an additional space for cooking those large meals when the oven is in use. The oven is also very spacious, and offers 6 rack positions. One of the included racks is a gliding rack which makes it easy to insert and remove large or heavy items. There is also a divider, which when placed in the center rack position, creates two separate temperature zones, allowing more capacity for baking. When in use, the entire unit allows 3 different zones for baking / broiling. The display is large and user friendly. Multiple options are presented based on the mode selected by the larger controls for each space. The oven easily connects to the Samsung SmartThings app, and we can monitor the progress of our meals, and can also remotely start / stop and change temperature. We absolutely love all the features and the ease of use of our new combination wall oven / microwave. Samsung has hit it out the park with this one!

This oven and microwave combination is really beautiful I love the blue interior. We've only had it installed a few weeks so we have not even begun to figure out all the options, but I do like the functionality of being able to cook in the different zones. It does seem like it takes a bit longer on cook times, so I'm not sure of the actual temp vs requested temp, but overall a great purchase.
