at first glance product appears to have features desired, upon actually using appliance the problems begin to appear, first the lid handle screws come loose because lid is too heavy for tiny screws used to hold handle in place, frost appeared within few days, bottom of unit is uneven hard to level. Believe got used/returned item instead of new product

My one Gripe "No Leveling Feet"

Purchased from Costco easy transaction; I bought the freezer because the advertisement said, “Garage Ready”. The freezer has no leveling feet; Wait What??. I don’t know of any garage that has a level floor. Probably because most city building codes must have garage floors built with a slight slope out from the walls and out away from the garage. So how can you advertise the freezer as garage ready. Yes, I could buy some hard plastic shims and level the freezer. But you would think, for a price of close to $1k for the freezer you would have a way to level the freezer; all my other appliances have leveling feet and they are in the house on a level floor. Other than this obvious imperfection I still like the freezer. However, I am now stuck with having to rig an appropriate way of leveling this freezer without voiding the manufacturer's warranty. Well, off the hardware store on my day off from work and roam around for 3-4 hours to find the hard plastic shims.

I took out the baskets to wipe everything down before using the freezer. There are 2 little plastic clips missing from the rail to support the baskets. I registered the freezer, called customer support and they told me they can't send the clips. They don't even come with the rail if you purchase it separately. They did offer to replace my brand new freezer. After the nightmare of trying to get this one delivered I don't want to do that ever again. Tried to add a photo and that doesn't work either.

Overall we love the size and all the features of the freezer. The organizer baskets that come with the unit make it so easy to keep food organized. I also love the light feature especially since we keep ours in our garage where it can be dark.
