This is rated at 0.5 gal/minute. My first and second filter both gave 0.125 gallons per minute. To be more precise, 32 fl Oz over two minutes. The first was bought at this site, the second at Home Depot. Not sure that I want to take the chance on a third.Considering a âbypass filterâ (and adding a GE in-line filter) but $50 seems alot to pay for something which does nothing.

This email told me to enter my model number. I did and it said that it was wrong. I checked again and it is not wrong. I have a Frigidaire Gallery. Model # FGHS2631PF4A, SERIAL# 4A70923900. I JUST BOUGHT 3 ultrawf from Wal-Mart. I entered the model number and they sold me 3 for $44.94 and that is with tax. I was afraid that they were the wrong ones, but when they got here, I tried one of them and it worked . They are just like the ones that I ordered from Discount Filters. Why is there such a big difference in price. The ones that I got from Walmart are Frigidaire brand.

I recently moved into my first home and was lucky enough to have a fridge with a built in water line already in the home. I figured I would use my filtered water pitcher in the meantime until I purchased a new fridge filter. I received a water tester (TDS) when I purchased the ZeroWater Pitcher that allows you to read all the particulates in the water. With the ZeroWater pItcher it removes EVERYTHING and hold it like that for 3-4 months. When I tested my sink line it measured 214. I purchased a brand new filter with the correct part number (spent $40) and ran the filter now for 2 days and there has been ZERO IMPROVEMENT on water quality. It actually got WORSE!!! It originally read 237 when I first ran it for 3minutes and now its holding at 224. These filters are scams and do absolutely nothing!!

I replaced my water filter, ran water through the line for atleast 10 minutes. Water is still cloudy, it is not bubbles, the glass of water has been left to sit. I called Frigidaire customer service and they tell me to call a technician out to my house, they aren't trained for that. There were no problems with the last filter.

Filters work great and I have had no issues with them. I have had an issue finding out how to recycle these. I would have expected a place to drop them for recycling in a market as big as the Boston metro.
