I have been using the filters for a long time. Something has changed. The water is cloudy with bubbles. The reading of the metals in the water is higher than water from the sink faucet. I returned the first one thinking maybe it had been tampered with. The second is the same. Problem is without this filter you donât have an ice maker. I will be trying an after market.
Shipped a broken filter- but refuse to replace

So my water started slowing down and ice wasn't being made. I looked up that the problem could be the water filter. Ordered through Fridgidaire store on Amazon and when I put in that filter the water did not flow at all. I assumed then that since it was a new water filter, that something else must be the problem. I finally was able to get someone to come look at the fridge. He changes out the filter housing but then it still doesn't work. He goes and gets a new filter, replaces my technically "new" filter and then the water dispenser suddenly works! He changes back to the old housing, and water still works with new filter. Clearly, the filter I ordered was defective from the beginning. And then begins the back and forth between Amazon and Frigidaire. Both claim that part has a "1-year warranty" but that the other is responsible for it and since I am past the 90 purchase days there's nothing they can do. But they have a 1-year warranty. Does that even make sense?? This didn't seem to be a shipping issue but more of an internal parts defect. Frigidaire should have stepped up with better customer service and integrity behind their own product.
Good but it last 4 months
