I've gone through 3 filters already since Dec (Total coverage of only 6 months!). So you'll be lucky to get 2 months out of them before water flows out slow. This is coming from a 2 person household, so I would imagine worst if there's more people. Current one is so slow now, that the ice maker is making miniature ice cubes. Probably better of getting the bypass and installing a filter outside of the refrigerator or find 3rd party compatible filter.

I replaced the water and I've filter. The water works fine. But now I get a loud air like sound every time the water refills the ice. Any ideas?

The first week after installation the water started to slow more and more. Now it has been a month and the water is running extremely slow from the filter. I don't think I can last another 5 months like this. I will call up customer service and see how they can help.
