This is the best freezer we have ever purchased. Not only is it frost free, but comes with nice, roomy shelves and a huge basket at the bottom with a lot of room in the door as well. We keep it in our garage, so the alarm on it is great. The digital temperature reading makes it easy to verify it is on. We love it, it has made stocking up a real pleasure.

We've had this freezer about 5 months and it is working with no issues and is pretty quiet. The reason for the 4 stars is the inadequate strength of the wire shelves. They are sagging under the weight of the food. I do not think that we have an inordinate amount of weight on them. GE should increase the diameter of the wire or add additional cross wires to increase strength. Definitely a blemish on an otherwise nice freezer.
