Love the design and amount of space. at 3 months it stopped cooling and we lost $500 in groceries because it took a tech 2 days to be dispatched

I have always had side-by-side refrigerators, and obviously thought I preferred them, so this was quite a change. Now that I have had the pleasure of using it, I have several observations that are all quite positive. After removing all the contents of the previous refrigerator and then placing it in the new one, it was readily apparent that the French Door model has a much better use of space. Where the previous model was jammed full, this new one has plenty of room for everything without crowding. I love the ability to easily see what is in the produce and fruit drawers, all the way to the back of the drawer. That will keep things like a stray piece of fruit from getting lost until it is no longer usable. The smaller in-door shelves on the left side (near the ice dispenser) are wonderful. They keep those small bottles from getting lost. I also like the heft of the doors and shelves. Everything seems solid and of excellent quality. The only thing I wish this appliance had was the ability to measure water as it is dispensed, but the ease of making adjustments to the temperature in the refrigerator and the freezer make up for that.

This refrigerator fits all my needs. It is easy to use the water and ice in the door. The shelves are adjustable. The lighting is good. The freezer is a good size

Unfortunately they water and ice maker keep malfunctioning. They come and fix it and shortly after it stops working. I would not recommend this product or GE.
