I have no complaints about the cooking mechanisms of the ovens, the food cooks nicely. The problem, and it's a big one, is the display on the microwave oven. The image you see in the photo provided by Bosch is not what you get. The display is so faint it's unreadable most of the time, and you can't make it brighter. You have to move around the kitchen to find an angle where you can just make out the numbers. (The display on the microwave does not match the display on the oven. The oven display is bright and fine.) When I stand on a step stool and look down on the microwave from above I am able to read the numbers. There is a tiny viewing angle that is optimal, but even then the display eventually fades out. Bosch should specify this unit should not be installed above a certain height. It's truly bizarre, I thought displays on microwaves had been figured out in the '80s. Bosch repair service has been great, and I had the microwave display replaced, but it didn't fix anything. This is a design flaw and it should never have passed quality control. I may have to complain and get my money back for this entire unit because it's an unsolvable problem. If you enjoy microwaving in the blind, this unit is for you. Otherwise I’d avoid this Bosch unit and look to another brand. Make sure you view it in the showroom so you know what you’re getting.

I love my Bosch microwave/wall oven. My previous oven was so difficult to operate. This one is simplicity itself and does everything I need in the way of cooking. Highly recommend it!

The units main power board went south after only 16 months of service with resulting repair charges over $600.00 for parts and labor. This is not a well designed product. Waited over 45 minutes for Bosch service on telephone before finally giving up. We will NEVER purchase another Bosch appliaance.
